The apartment/mini compactor fits through standard freight elevator doors and into trash rooms too tight for a full-size unit. It compacts enough to stretch the time between pickups, which cuts hauling costs and truck traffic at the property. The hydraulic power unit runs quietly enough for residential noise ordinances, and a 120V single-phase option means many buildings can install one without electrical upgrades (208V 3-phase is also available). Key-switch operation limits use to authorized staff, and a safety interlock guards the charge opening. Apartment buildings, condominiums, hotels, and small commercial buildings are the usual buyers. Sizes run from 1 to 2 cubic yards.
