12 Gauge Steel Hopper

The 12 gauge steel hopper funnels loose waste from a dock or loading point into a stationary compactor's charge chamber. Interior surfaces are ground smooth so material does not hang up, which also makes cleanout between loads simple. The hopper bolts to the compactor charge box with a flanged, gap-free connection that keeps waste from escaping during the feed cycle. Seams are continuous MIG welds, and the top edge is a reinforced flange. It goes on loading docks, in warehouse back areas, and anywhere workers hand-feed cardboard, packaging, plastics, or general commercial waste into a compactor. The standard throat fits 2 to 4 yard charge boxes, and the wide throat fits 4 to 6 yard.
