The compactor ram and the container are built as one sealed, liquid-tight unit, so liquids stay in, odors stay down between pickups, and the haul truck does not get contaminated. Loading is top-feed, side-feed, or hopper-fed into a 2-yard charge box, and every model can take a hydraulic tipper for 2-yard carts or standard 64/96-gallon bins. Container capacities run from 15 to 35 cubic yards. The NYC model is 96 inches tall and weighs approximately 10,000 lbs. Warranty is 1 year standard and 2 years on power unit components, with extended warranty and maintenance programs available.

Receiving Container

A receiving container mates to a stationary compactor and carries the compacted load to disposal. There are three builds, matched to how hard the compactor pushes and what it is pushing. Standard is 10 gauge plate throughout, for cardboard, packaging, and general commercial waste. Heavy Duty uses 7 gauge floors and lower walls with longitudinal and transverse exterior ribs, for compacted food waste and heavy organics. Extra Heavy Duty is 7 gauge on every surface with a triple-reinforced subframe and external gusset plates, and each one is load-tested before shipment; it is built for industrial sludge and scrap metal trimmings. A 40-yard receiving container holds roughly 12 standard pickup truck loads of compacted material. Sizes run from 30 to 50 cubic yards, cable roll-off or hook lift compatible.

It compacts enough to stretch the time between pickups, which cuts hauling costs and truck traffic at the property. Hopper

12 Gauge Steel Hopper

The 12 gauge steel hopper funnels loose waste from a dock or loading point into a stationary compactor's charge chamber. Interior surfaces are ground smooth so material does not hang up, which also makes cleanout between loads simple. The hopper bolts to the compactor charge box with a flanged, gap-free connection that keeps waste from escaping during the feed cycle. Seams are continuous MIG welds, and the top edge is a reinforced flange. It goes on loading docks, in warehouse back areas, and anywhere workers hand-feed cardboard, packaging, plastics, or general commercial waste into a compactor. The standard throat fits 2 to 4 yard charge boxes, and the wide throat fits 4 to 6 yard.
