Containers for waste streams a standard dumpster cannot handle. Concrete specialty containers include our concrete washout container for ready-mix plants and active job sites, built for EPA stormwater compliance. For liquids there are frac tanks in 200, 300, and 500 barrel sizes. The line also covers chipper boxes for wood chips and brush, leaf boxes, watertight containers for contaminated soil and liquid-bearing loads, flatbeds, sea containers, and custom builds.

Recycling Container

Recycling containers with separate openings sized for paper, plastic, glass, and aluminum, so material is sorted as it goes in and reaches the processor cleaner. Three roof styles are available. Barn Roof sheds rain and snow best and is the most visible. Flat Roof fits under canopies and parking structures. Peaked Roof has a steep symmetrical pitch that sheds leaves and litter and is easy for the public to spot. A 4-yard holds roughly 24 bags of mixed recyclables, a good size for a mid-size office building or retail center. Construction is 12 gauge steel with removable internal dividers and a powder-coated finish in standard or custom colors, set up for front load or rear load collection. Sizes run from 2 to 8 cubic yards for transfer stations, municipal recycling centers, parks, campuses, and community programs.

Flatbed

Flatbed Container

Flatbed containers are open decks for palletized material, equipment, and oversized items that will not fit in an enclosed roll-off. There are three builds. Standard has 11-inch perimeter walls and loads by forklift from all four sides. Slope Tail drops 2-1/2 inches from front to rear with a diamond plate deck, so wheeled equipment can drive on and off under its own power. Heavy Duty uses a 3/8-inch steel plate floor on I-beam crossmembers at 12-inch centers with 7 gauge walls, built to carry tracked excavators, skid steers, and material handlers. General contractors, equipment rental companies, and industrial operations are the usual buyers. Lengths are 20 and 22 feet, plus 24 feet on the Heavy Duty, all cable roll-off or hook lift compatible.

Wash Out

Concrete Washout Container

Concrete washout containers give ready-mix plants, pump operators, and general contractors a contained place for washout water and leftover concrete that supports EPA stormwater compliance. A release agent-compatible interior liner keeps concrete from bonding to the walls. The floor is reinforced for the weight of cured concrete and sloped toward a screened drain port that separates solids from washout water. A 20-yard can hold several tons of hardened material. Sizes are 5, 10, 15, and 20 cubic yards, all cable roll-off compatible, and any of them can be built watertight on request. A secondary containment berm is optional. Watertight

Watertight Container

The watertight container is for loads that cannot leak: liquid-bearing waste, contaminated soil, and hazardous material. The floor is a 2-piece overlap with at least 3 inches of overlap, continuously welded on both the interior and exterior faces, and every panel joint has a P-gasket compression seal. The full-height rear doors close on a compression gasket, and the drain valve has a positive shutoff for controlled discharge. Every container is hydrostatically tested before it ships. A 30-yard holds roughly 170 trash bags of volume with a weight capacity of 6 to 7 tons. Environmental remediation, contaminated soil removal, and industrial liquid waste are the main uses. Sizes run from 15 to 40 cubic yards, cable roll-off compatible.

Frac Tank

Frac tanks in stock at Cooper Tank's Brooklyn yard. A frac tank holds 200 to 500 barrels of liquid, about 8,400 to 21,000 gallons (one oilfield barrel is 42 US gallons). The most common size, the 500-barrel tank, holds about 21,000 gallons of water. These are steel vessels for holding and moving large volumes of liquid on industrial sites: produced water, drilling mud, construction dewatering, and industrial liquid staging. Each tank is 3/16-inch formed steel, continuously welded and pressure-tested, with a chemical-resistant epoxy interior lining, camlock inlet and outlet ports, a graduated sight gauge, and a DOT inspection certificate. Chipper Box

The chipper box is a tall-sided roll-off that takes wood chips, brush, and processed yard waste straight from a commercial chipper. Chips are light, so a standard roll-off runs out of room long before it reaches its weight limit. The extended sidewalls fix that: a 40-yard chipper box holds roughly 12 pickup truck loads of chips. The rear loading zone is reinforced for the impact of the discharge chute, and smooth interior panels let the load dump clean. Construction is 10 gauge steel with full-width rear swing doors and standard cable sheave rollers. Tree service companies, commercial arborists, municipal tree departments, and biomass processors are the main users. Sizes are 20, 30, and 40 cubic yards, cable roll-off compatible.

Leaf Box

The leaf box is an extra-tall roll-off for seasonal pickup of loose leaves, grass clippings, and unprocessed green waste. In a regular roll-off that material fills the box by volume long before it gets near the weight limit. A 40-yard leaf box holds the equivalent of 15 or more pickup truck loads of loose leaves. The tall panels are stiffened with vertical hat channels. Optional mesh or perforated upper panels let moisture drain during transport, which lowers the weight billed at facilities that charge by the ton. Tarp hooks along the top rail are optional. Municipal leaf collection programs, landscape maintenance companies, and golf courses run them through the fall. Sizes are 30, 40, and 50 cubic yards.

Sea Container

Sea containers are steel storage and shipping boxes built to ISO intermodal freight dimensions from Corten weathering steel, which forms a protective patina instead of rusting through. A 40-foot unit gives roughly 2,390 cubic feet of enclosed, weather-resistant storage for equipment, materials, tools, or waste at a job site or industrial yard. Double rear doors close with multi-point cam-locks on continuous rubber gaskets to keep contents dry and secure. The floor is marine-grade hardwood or steel. Units can be stacked, forked, and craned, and factory-installed roll-off rails are available so a cable hoist truck can move them. Construction sites, industrial storage, remote operations, and long-term outdoor equipment storage are the usual uses. Sizes are 20-foot, 40-foot, and 40-foot high cube.

Sliding Roof

Sliding Roof Container

The sliding roof container has a retractable roof that opens for loading by crane, grapple, or excavator and closes to enclose the load for transport. The roof runs on heavy duty linear bearings in reinforced structural tracks, so one operator can open and close it, manually or hydraulically. A continuous rubber overlap seal keeps rain out when it is shut, and the closed roof takes the place of a tarp for loads that fall under DOT tarping rules. A 30-yard holds roughly 170 trash bags or about 9 pickup truck loads. Steel is 10 gauge standard with a 7 gauge heavy duty option, cable roll-off or hook lift compatible. It is used for construction debris, contaminated soil, and recyclable commodities. Sizes are 20, 30, and 40 cubic yards.
